How to organize your day
My days are really busy, and I suppose your days are busy too. So, how to make our days more effective.
Make lists
I’m a creative person and as the most of you know creative persons rarely are the most tidy persons. So I got a lot of papers and “to do’s” on my desk floating around. But, I’ve learned to get some structure and have started making lists.
Then again making lists doesn’t help a lot if you don’t separate things in “must do”, “priority” and “the big list”.
Must do
This is thing you can’t live without and which makes changes in your business or life.
This could be things like:
- Change the header of my blog
- Put a opt-in function at my site
- Make newsletter
- Write todays article
Priority
This is the things you should do, but not are so important that it has to be made today.
Things like:
- A topic you must write about
- Adding a new blog to your blogroll
- Write 10 articles to your new section
The big list
This is all your great ideas and little things you think you should have done.
Here I’m not going to list things to do – I think you got a long list already, I sure do!
This is nothing new, bit I know I have to hear,read and see it many times before I act!
